Comparison Between Lather and Nothing Else and The story of Joseph

My blog is about the comparison of a story called Lather and Nothing Else and another story Joesph
In the story Lather and Nothing Else there is a civil war going on, a Barber one day gets a unusual customer. It is their enemy captain! The young barber not knowing what to do continues on shaving. In his mind he has thoughts whether to kill him or not. This is similar to the bible story King Joesph because in the story Joesph's brothers get jealous that their father had more love towards his youngest son, that was Joesph. With that hatred they sold their brother and lied to their father. Years later that young Joesph became king. During famine the brothers of King Joesph came to the king(not knowing that this was their brother) and asked for food. Joesph knew that these were his brothers, and not holding a grudge or arresting them for selling him he gave them food.

In these two stories the main character has to make a decision, instead of letting their emotions take the best of them they simply just did their job. In Lather and Nothing Else the Barber decides not to kill the captain and finishes cutting his beard. In the story of Joseph he does not arrest his brothers for selling him instead grants them with food and land.

These both stories are also different,in Lather and Nothing Else the Barber has hatred thoughts and really wants to kill the captain, while in the story of Joseph , he has no hatred thoughts what so ever and is really happy to see his brothers.
